The No1 bike was sporting the newly installed 1288 engine. Unfortunately it only lasted 1 day before blowing a head gasket. Once again the No2 bike saved the weekend and not only qualified in the top 25 for the Barry Sheehan feature race but finished the last race inside the top 10. Not bad for a standard 992 daytona.
