Mario (RaceCo Daytona 1288) is punching above his weight at Interfos. Running 6th in class and 13th outright. The very tricky wet conditions are suiting the Guzzi power delivery. The next 2 days of racing are predicted to be dry so I expect we will start to slide backwards on the progressive grids. Interfos is Australia’s biggest classic bike event. It’s in its 13th year and was formally known as the Barry Sheene Festival of Speed in honour of the great man who was a fierce competitor in Classic racing in Australia before his untimely departure from our lives . Our pit this weekend is brimming with Italian machinery with lots of Guzzi’s, Ducati’s and Laverda’s. It’s a symphony of twins. #guzziraceraus #raceco #guzziracer #classicbike #motoguzzi
