RaceCo Daytona 1288 at

RaceCo Daytona 1288 at Darwin in the Northern Territory AUS. Best finish was 2nd in class and 3rd outright in the very last round of racing. Thanks to Dave from Pirelli who helped me get the suspension and tyre pressures right. It was my first time in Pirelli slicks and a real learning curve. The torque and weight of the Daytona was a challenge for rear tyre degradation. What a great week. We road for 7 days straight and all it cost was $400. The TERRA club in Darwin are fantastic. The track is beautiful. As smooth as Phillip Island and heaps of fun. I’ll go back next year for sure. Now I’m frantically getting the bike ready for the Aussie Historic titles in Western Australia. We are driving over. This RaceCo Daytona was born and raced in WA. It will be nice to take it home. I will be running all the original bodywork for the occasion.
